Peter Griffiths
Founder FounderPeter Griffiths is the Founder and Chairman of Argyll Data Development Ltd and an international infrastructure specialist with more than four decades of experience spanning engineering, aviation, government, regulation and digital infrastructure.
Throughout his career, he has advised governments, regulators and private organisations on the planning, delivery and governance of major infrastructure programmes. His international experience includes working with both the UK Government and the Government of Kazakhstan on airport development, certification and strategic infrastructure planning.
For six years, Peter served as Chairman of the European Commission's Performance Review Body (PRB), overseeing the performance framework for European air traffic management under the Single European Sky programme. Earlier in his career, he served on a number of UK Cabinet Office sponsored committees covering renewable energy, radio spectrum management, national transport infrastructure and strategic infrastructure policy.
Alongside his regulatory and strategic work, Peter has extensive operational aviation experience, serving as Captain on both Airbus and Boeing aircraft with a major international airline. Originally trained as a marine engineer, he has combined practical engineering expertise with executive leadership across complex infrastructure programmes throughout Europe and the Middle East.
Today, Peter's work is focused on the development of sovereign artificial intelligence infrastructure, resilient energy systems and next-generation digital infrastructure. Through the Argyll organisation, he is leading the development of integrated AI, energy and digital infrastructure designed to strengthen national resilience, support secure digital transformation and deliver long-term economic value.

Founder Robert Mitchell
Robert Mitchell is a Director of the Argyll organisation and the owner of Killellan Farm in Argyll, where he has built a successful portfolio of agricultural and commercial enterprises over many years.
Alongside farming operations, Robert owns and operates Cowal Sand and Gravel Ltd, a well-established regional aggregates business serving customers across Argyll and the west of Scotland. His experience spans land management, commercial operations, resource management and the practical delivery of infrastructure projects within a rural environment.
Robert brings extensive knowledge of land stewardship, planning and long-term asset management. Under his leadership, Killellan Farm has supported a diverse range of agricultural and commercial activities while maintaining strong relationships with local communities, businesses and regional supply chains.
The wider Killellan estate includes land designated by Argyll and Bute Council for light industrial development, creating opportunities for future investment and sustainable economic growth. Robert's combination of local knowledge, commercial experience and long-term commitment to the region provides an important foundation for the Argyll organisation's infrastructure and development activities.
Today, Robert works alongside the wider Argyll leadership team to support the development of sovereign artificial intelligence infrastructure, resilient energy systems and strategic investment projects, ensuring that long-term economic development is delivered alongside responsible land management and sustainable regional growth.
